House of Dreams

I love boho/organic house deco. And I was sifting through some blogs and came across a couple people who had posted their dream homes. So I decided that it was a completely lovely idea and that I would post mine. Here's the frills.

I adore the carpets/ sheets draped from the celling style along with the drawings on the wall. And maps. I have a slight addiction to old faded maps. =]

On to thrills? I think so. Marathon running training still hasn't begun for me (I know I'm awful). But I swear it will. Right now I've been so overloaded and overwhelmed. But thats not an excuse. So I'll escape it somehow. But anyway. Thrills.

This is so adorable. I giggled uncontrollably for about five minutes. And almost decided baby pandas were my new favorite animals. But yet I still choose turtles. Why? Because they arn't ferocious or conniving or clever. They're just chill and relaxed. They are not in a hurry. They've got no worries or responsibilities. They're just chill. If I was an animal. I would totally be a turtle.

Anyways, have a lovely night kids,
I PROMISE this time there will be a post soon
With clothing.

The Beginning

Hello kids =]
This is in fact the first post, and I have no idea where I'm going with it. I've drawn inspiration from I am Apple Orchard, Jen loves Ken, Selective Potential, and Orchid Grey to create this. Following in a jumble of their footsteps with my own twist on what i want to post. Now that the intro is over, on to the first post.

I've recently ordered some fabulous clothes off Modcloth, which I can't wait to put together. Don't you love new clothes? And hate the wait over receiving them in the mail? Well here are the pictures of the long awaited outfit, I'll definitely be posting the finished product when I receive them in the mail.

Here's the lovely dress (its lovely right?) and the lovely black tights to match.

Final touches, well I'm unsure on that. But this vibrant blue scarf will be in the delivery box also.

That's its for the frills of the first post. I promise there will be an actual human being in the next post with clothing on, not just pictures.

Onto the thrills. This section will be whatever thrills are currently in my life, whether it be an exhilarating adventure I want to try or a mesmerizing book. Or even a new addition to my tea set. Yes, I have a plethora of random tea cups all different shapes and sizes that I have acquired from antique stores.

Back to today's thrill. Well I'm training for a marathon. But I wasn't inspired by marathon runners. It was actually ultra marathon runners that pushed this lovely spur of motivation along. Ultra marathon runners you ask? Oh yes, ultras. They run 100 miles at a time. 100 MILES! Oh geez. Can you imagine that? Anyways. If any of this section was interesting, you should definitely read Born to Run by McDougall. It's a fantastic book about an Ultra Marathon in the depths of the canyons in Mexico with every Ultra star out there (there's only like 5). And it's probably for sale on Amazon for 4 dollars plus shipping. Don't you love Amazon?

That's all for the first post lovelies,
I promise actual fashion, not just pictures of inanimate objects will be following.
Along with progress in thrills.
